Solid steel pruning shears made in a smaller form for slighter hands and lighter tasks. The limited edition shears are hand-wrapped in wisteria rattan for a textural grip. Made in Sanjo Niigata, Japan by Toyama Hamono, a traditional shears manufacturer hand-making secateurs and scissors since 1861. Based on the manufacturing methods of Japanese swords, solid steel pruning shears feature a drop forged handle and curved blades.
Each tool is stamped with the characters hidehisa which during the Edo period in Japan, represented superior quality and craftsmanship and has become a Toyama Hamono signature.
